1. Who is responsible
Forgentry is the controller of the personal data processed on the platform, under the Brazilian General Data Protection Law (Law 13.709/2018 — LGPD).
This policy covers the forgentry.gg website and the application behind it. Write to contato@forgentry.gg for anything related to personal data — the same address reaches the person in charge of data processing that the LGPD requires.
2. What we collect
Account data: your name, your email address and the identifier returned by the sign-in provider. We never receive your password.
Content you create and use: characters, campaigns, adventures, notes, handouts, homebrew creations, messages exchanged at a table and the automatic session log.
Payment data: amount, status, date and the identifiers returned by the payment provider. Card and PIX details are handled by that provider and never reach our servers.
Technical data: IP address, browser and device, timestamps, and application logs of errors and usage — necessary to operate, diagnose problems and protect the service.
3. Why we process it, and on what legal basis
To create and maintain your account, run your tables and deliver everything you asked for — processing necessary to perform the contract between us.
To charge for paid operations and keep the accounting and tax records the law requires — compliance with a legal obligation.
To keep the service secure, prevent abuse and improve the product — our legitimate interest, balanced against your rights. Audience measurement happens only after you consent to it, and only while that consent lasts.
4. Cookies and local storage
We use your browser local storage for what the product cannot work without: keeping you signed in, remembering your language and your interface preferences. This does not depend on consent.
Audience measurement is loaded only after you accept it, and stays off until then — including the cookies that tool would set. You can change your decision at any time from the footer of this page, and refusing it does not reduce access to any feature. If you refuse after having accepted, measurement stops and the cookies it had set are deleted from this device.
5. Who we share data with
Service providers strictly necessary to run the platform: the identity provider that authenticates you, the payment provider that processes top-ups, and the cloud infrastructure that hosts the application.
When you use an AI feature, the content of that request is sent to the matching AI provider — text or image — to produce the answer. We do not send your name, your email or your payment data along with it.
We may disclose data to authorities when the law or a court order requires it. We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it for third-party advertising.
6. International transfers
Some of those providers process data outside Brazil, mainly in the United States. In those cases the transfer relies on contractual clauses and safeguards compatible with articles 33 and following of the LGPD.
When you use an AI feature, be aware that the content of the request is processed abroad by the AI providers (text and image).
7. How long we keep it
Account and content data are kept while your account exists. When you delete your account, they are removed or anonymised, except for what we are legally required to retain.
Payment and tax records are kept for the period the law requires. Security and access logs are kept for a limited period and then discarded.
8. Your rights
Under article 18 of the LGPD you may ask for confirmation that processing exists, access your data, correct it, request anonymisation, blocking or deletion, ask for portability, learn with whom it is shared, and withdraw consent.
Requests go to contato@forgentry.gg. We answer within the legal period and may ask for information that confirms your identity before acting, so that nobody else can act on your data. If our answer does not satisfy you, you may take the matter to the ANPD.
9. Security
We apply technical and administrative measures proportional to the risk: encrypted traffic, authentication delegated to a dedicated identity server, access control between environments, and application logs.
No service is immune to incidents. If one occurs with relevant risk to your rights, we notify you and the ANPD as the LGPD requires.
10. Children and adolescents
The platform is not intended for people under 13. Between 13 and 18, use depends on the consent of a parent or legal guardian. An account found to be in breach of this is removed.
11. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated. The date at the top always shows the current version, and material changes are announced inside the product before they take effect.
